1. Scope
This Cookie Policy describes how the bridgedev.io website uses cookies and similar technologies. The Bridge mobile application does not use web cookies; sensitive on-device data is stored using platform-standard secure storage. For broader privacy information, see our Privacy Policy.
2. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They allow a site to remember information about your visit, like preferences or session state. Similar technologies (local storage, pixels, fingerprinting) serve related purposes. This policy uses “cookies” as shorthand for all such technologies.
3. Cookies This Site Uses
Strictly Necessary
These cookies are required for the site to function. They cannot be turned off in our systems, though you can configure your browser to block them (the site may then not work correctly). Examples include session and security cookies set by Cloudflare to deliver bridgedev.io content securely from its edge network.
Analytics — Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand site usage in aggregate. GA4 sets first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish users and sessions. GA4 is configured with IP anonymization. We do not use GA4 advertising features, do not enable ad personalization, and do not share GA4 data with Google for advertising purposes.
Analytics data is retained per GA4’s default event-data retention (currently fourteen months). You can opt out of GA4 measurement on this site by installing the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by enabling your browser’s do-not-track or tracking-protection features.
What We Do Not Use
- No advertising or ad-targeting cookies.
- No cross-site tracking pixels.
- No social-media advertising trackers (no Meta Pixel, no TikTok pixel, etc.).
- No data is sold or shared with advertising networks.
4. Your Controls
Modern browsers allow per-site cookie control. If you disable non-essential cookies, the strictly necessary cookies will continue to be set so the site can function. You can also clear cookies at any time from your browser settings.
For California residents, see Section 9 of our Privacy Policy for CCPA-specific rights. For EU/UK residents, see Section 10 of the same policy.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated alongside changes to our Privacy Policy.
